CHILDREN AGE 3 - 5TH GRADE

Each Sunday Morning HCC offers:
  • Children’s Sunday School Classes: Age appropriate curricula to acquaint our children with Biblical truths and classic Bible stories. Classes meet in the education wing at 10:15am.

  • Children’s Worship: After the pastor completes “Blessing the Children,” about half-way through the corporate worship time, leader(s) in the back of the sanctuary will guide children age 4 through 2nd grade to their Worship Center in the education wing. At the 9:00 service, all children ages 4 through 2nd grade will use the Worship Center in room 157.  At the 11:15 service, ages 4 through kindergarten will use the Worship Center in room 133, and those in 1st and 2nd grade will use the Worship Center  in room 157.  Parents are asked to pick up their children at the Worship Center(s) immediately after the worship service concludes. Children under the age of 4 are invited to play in supervised childcare, and may be dropped off by parents before the worship service time, or after the children are dismissed in the main worship service.

  • Children's Choirs: Our two Children’s Choirs meet every Sunday during the school year from 12:15 to 1:30pm.  We welcome all kids ages four through 5th grade.  Lunch will be served, and then we will learn a variety of songs from praise to hymns.  The children are learning to be an integral part of our worship services and have fun praising our Lord by using their voices in song.  Come try it out!

Our Mission
The nursery at the Hackberry Creek Church seeks to provide a safe, loving environment for 36 months and under. Our goal is to allow parents to participate in church activities with the reassurance that their children are well cared for in a manner that is both developmentally and theologically appropriate. 
Our Facilities
The HCC nursery consists of three rooms:
  • An infant room, with a separate quiet room containing cribs and rocking chairs.  Nursing mothers are invited to use the rockers as needed.
  • A toddler room designed for active crawlers and walkers from approximately 1-2 years old.
  • A 2-year-old room, with more complex toys and puzzles.
  • Each room is furnished with age-appropriate toys. 
  • Crib sheets are changed and cribs disinfected at the end of the day, and toys are disinfected as they are dirtied, or at the end of the day.
What To Bring Per Child:
Parents need to provide a labeled diaper bag containing:
  • Clean diapers
  • A change of clothes
  • Labeled plastic bottle/sippy cup
  • Snacks, if desired
  • (only snacks provided by parents
  will be served to children under 1)

Sundays: 8:45am to 12:15pm
Nursery Care (36 months and under) is also provided for many other church activities; please call the church office in advance to check.

Family Fun Night – “Board” at home?  Bring your family and a favorite board game for a night of pizza and games. Friday evening, July 23rd, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Drinks and pizza provided.  Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share.

P.O.P. - Popsicles on the Playground – Join us for popsicles, bubbles, sidewalk chalk and water fun!  All ages welcome!  Tuesday (7/27), 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. FREE!

KIDMO – This fast paced, high energy, Bible study for elementary school students has been a blast!  Games, prizes, snacks and excitement!  Bring your friends!  For 1st grade through 5th grade students.  Wednesday night (7/28), 6:30 – 8:00. FREE!

HCC Kids! Movie Time – Join us for a family movie 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. this Thursday (7/29). FREE! Drop off kids 5 and up.

His Kids Camp – Camp was a combination of Bible study, crafts, snacks, and games, focusing on teaching kids about living a Christ centered life.  Offered for 1st through 5th grade students the first week in July, His Kids Camp was a huge success!

Service Saturday – A time for families to serve our community together.
