Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is a six week introduction for people who have made Hackberry Creek Church their home, or are considering doing so, and concludes with a brunch on the sixth Sunday. It addresses issues such as: What is HCC about? What are our core beliefs? What's gong on at HCC? How do I get involved and in what? What's here for me at this church? Classes meet in the spring and the fall.
Opportunities for Children and Youth
Children's Sunday School -
Age appropriate lessons to acquaint our children with Biblical truths and classic Bible stories. (see children's page for more detail).
youthGROUPS (Middle and High School Sunday School) -
6th - 12th graders attend class in the youth room for music and Bible study. (see youth page for more detail).
HCC Adult Education classes are listed below. Below is our 2008/2009 schedule. There are also some classes offered periodically which are listed. No need to sign up, just come on in, all are invited.
A Course to learn about our spiritual gifts and to
be equipped to use those gifts in ministry.
This five week class is offered periodically at HCC during the adult education hour. Pastor Dale speaks about how to discover the unique tools and spiritual gifts God has given us. Class size is limited, so sign up in the Narthex, contact the church office or email Ginny Carter at ginnyc@hackberrycreekchurch.com.
"Abundant life"
Abundant Life encourages participants, through topical studies, how to make God a priority in our lives and deepen our relationships with Him. The class appeals to those new in the faith as well as those well versed in the Bible. We learn from the Bible, authors and one another. Fellowship and prayer bound together with the Word of God describes this class.

"Bible Pathways"
Bible Pathways enjoys studying the Bible and its application to our daily lives. Lecture and lively class participation provide a greater understanding of God’s will as we explore the scriptures together. The study follows a quarterly theme but each lesson is complete on its own, allowing participants to join the class at any time.

"Home Improvement"
Home Improvement is focusing on building relationships, building Biblical knowledge and building Christian lives. This class meets in Room 211
Fresh Word in the Morning
Fresh Word in the Morning is a Bible Study led by Dale Patterson. This class meets at 10am Thursday morings at the church. It is open to all and drop-ins are welcome.
